The 7th Great Chili Cook-Off
coming March 21 st!
Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 21st after worship, for the ever popular Great Chili Cook-off. This will be our seventh so most of us already know the routine. You remember “Chili bucks”, ballot stuffing, Mexican music, friendly competition and lots of laughs. Traditional and non-traditional chili recipes, along with best booth / costume decorations, all compete for the top prizes.
If you wish to share a favorite recipe this year and have fun competing, contact Jeanne Case. If not, be sure to stop by, sample many recipes and enjoy the fun and fellowship.
And as always, the real winner is charity and One Great Hour of Sharing . Since 1949, Presbyterians have joined with millions of other Christians through One Great Hour of Sharing, to share God’s love with people experiencing need. Our gifts support ministries of disaster response, refugee assistance and resettlement, and community development that help people find safe refuge, start new lives and work together to strengthen their families and communities.
The Great Chili Cook-off is becoming a fellowship tradition for all ages at First Presbyterian Church. As the day nears, more information will follow. Just get it on your calendar now!
